6 Fantastic Family Friendly Restaurants in Las Vegas

While keeping the kids entertained can always be a struggle, keeping them full and happy while on vacation can also be a challenge.

We've done some tasting and exploring some of the fantastic family friendly restaurants to hopefully make it easier to navigate in a city of over 2,500 eateries. Let's dig into what we think are some great places for the kids.

Great value for money: Born and bred in Vegas with 3 (soon to be 4 with another coming to Area51 in 2026) locations around the valley, and now nationwide, this family friendly restaurant really gives a good time. At Nacho Daddy you can find piled-high loaded nachos, flaming fajitas, busting burritos and other offerings at an affordable price. With a fun and exciting style this restaurant is a casual and fun eatery which is welcoming to all. There is a separate kid's menu with a good number of options including chicken tenders, quesadilla's, vegan options and of course nachos. There are also great drinks for the adults too with large size margs, or mix it up with a marg flight, but remember you are with the kids! Make sure to try and leave space for the deep-fried ice cream or the rich luscious chocolate cake too! If you're really feeling fiery you can go for the flaming caramel deep-fried ice-dream desert prepared table-side. Also, if you're a strong coffee lover make sure to try theirs which comes strong served in a cafetière.

Perfect breakfast: At the South end of the main strip in Town Square, or at their Downtown location on Fremont Street can be found a fantastic breakfast or brunch at Broken Yolk Cafe. With an extensive menu from pancake stacks, healthy options, full hearty omelettes, skillets, benedicts and South of the Border classics to name a few. This busy restaurant is the place to keep the whole family full till dinner. There are also seasonal options to boot and for the adults great cocktails and mimosa flights. There is always a wait, so try and add yourselves to the guest list before you get there, but don't worry if you do have to wait, their fantastic staff turn the tables around in record time.

Fun & Interesting: Walk through the candy store and into The Sugar Factory with eye catching colourful food aplenty and insane milkshakes. This is a fun and interesting place for kids and adults alike making it a great choice for a family friendly restaurant in Las Vegas. Whilst it might be a bit much for the kids to have a 24ct gold burger a cookie monster shake might be just the thing for them. Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner this American dinner with a candy problem is sure to keep them entertained by just watching people's choice of food go by!

Engaging: What better way to cool off from the Nevada heat than to step into Rainforest Cafe! Situated right next door to The Sugar Factory you will find a complete contrast to it. Enter under the trees and past the alligator lurking in the mist, walk up the stairs and discover a completely different world, with indoor thunderstorms and more huge interactive jungle animals. The whole atmosphere is truly designed to immerse the whole family and keep the children engaged and having fun whilst enjoying great food. There is a great outdoor patio with a wonderful view of the Strip with plenty of seating. They have specific kids menus with lots of different options, no matter how picky. Definitely an expedition to keep the whole family interested.

Portions to last all day: Up at the North end of the Strip by the Las Vegas Convention Center you can find the super cool Siegel's Bagelmania. This huge retro Jewish deli and restaurant has everything you would expect and more. They have been a staple in Vegas since the late 80's and are the type of place that if you know, you know. When you enter you are greeted with baskets of freshly made bagels and meats as their takeaway options or if you want to stay a while they have a full dining room, patio and sit up bar area. To top it all off they have another Las Vegas staple sharing the building with them, Pinkbox doughnuts. The most interesting doughnuts you have ever seen. Famous for their signature pink icing, they will have you spoilt for choice with what they have on show. The menu is absolutely huge from classic Reuben sandwiches to burgers, hot dogs, soups, salads and breakfasts. They serve cocktails and also have a kid's menu to boot, perfect for the whole family. With TVs around you'll never miss out on sports either. Most of the portions are easily shared and you will definitely be leaving with a box! Be aware that on convention or event days they do have valet parking, which is free when you dine in, but just make it easy and take a taxi.

Fine dining, but family friendly: Ferraro's Italian restaurant is all about the food and the family. Ferraro’s is synonymous with extraordinary service and unforgettable dining experiences. You are welcomed and feel warm as soon as you walk in the door. Since its establishment in the mid 80's this well-renowned beauty is a favourite with locals and visitors alike. It is run by the Ferraro family who strive to provide you with the finest in authentic Italian cuisine with farm-fresh produce and hand rolled pasta all in tune with the seasons and a passionate approach to food which showcases the love and heritage of their food. The homemade Amaretti Biscotti and other delicious deserts just make it all that little bit sweeter too!
