6 More Fantastic Family Friendly attractions in Las Vegas

There are just so many things to do that we couldn't narrow it down to just 6 things to do with the kids in Vegas. So, we decided to give you more fantastic family friendly attractions in Las Vegas!

Here's how to incorporate even more into your vacation in Vegas courtesy of us here at Key to LV.

Free and easy: The Flamingo Hotel & Casino is a Vegas staple. Built way back in 1946, it is still staking it's claim in the heart of the Strip. Back in the day when the hotel had a long sweeping driveway entrance real Flamingos lined the grass verges. The driveway is now long gone, but the live Chilean Flamingos are very must still a part of the hotel. Located at the back is now a 4-acre Wildlife Habitat including unique bird species and exotic fish. So, while your center strip why not see some Flamingos at the Flamingo!

Classic: Located at what is known at the end of the Strip standing 108 floors in the sky you will find the tallest observation tower in the United States. The Strat viewing deck is a great place to visit with the family to really take in the whole 360 degrees of the Las Vegas valley. With a view of the Wynn golf club and the Sphere there are seating areas and a cafe so you can while away the hours by seeing Vegas from a unique perspective. Make sure to go up to the outer viewing deck to really feel like the King of the World.

Hidden gem: Around a 10-minute drive North from the main strip you can find the magical Springs preserve. Hailing as the Birthplace of Las Vegas you are able to take in some culture and history of the area, whilst enjoying a day packed full of children's activities. The Preserve features museums, educational experiences, outdoor events, a butterfly habitat, botanical garden, desert animals, train rides and a playground and splash pad. There is also a cafe with outdoor seating where you are able to take in a fantastic view of the Las Vegas skyline. If you are visiting in the summer, make sure to get there early before it gets too hot, and as most of the area is outdoors be sure to take suncream and waters to stay hydrated.

Worth the money: If you're looking for a Family adrenaline rush, or just to 'hang around' on Fremont street Slotzilla is the place to do it. For the thrill seekers you have the Superhero Zoom (Zoom line) where you are suspended and launched from 114 feet above the ground and sent 5 blocks down Fremont street. Or if you're not feeling so adventurous there is the Zip-Zilla zipline where you are seated and 77 feet high to travel 3 blocks. Either way flying above the crowds is an experience like no other. Check the website for discount times to fly.

Experience worthy: As you have kids, we're sure you have already been to an aquarium by now, but have you been to one in Las Vegas with a shipwreck?! No? Well Shark Reef can tick that one off the list for you. The first and only facility in Nevada accredited by the Association of Zoos & Aquariums is located next to Mandalay Bay Convention Center so be prepared for a 7–10-minute walk from the casino floor to find it. Once you do you will be happy you did. The humidity will hit you first by starting in a magical rainforest full of reptiles and Piranhas' and then on to the Stingray touch pool where the kids can get really interactive with the animals. You then go on through to the shipwreck and underwater tunnel for multiple different views of the sharks, shoals of fish and the green turtles. The staff are all along the way to guide you and provide you with their full knowledge of the animals. To make entrance smooth, reserve a time slot in advance, the tickets are hourly, but be aware that you don't have to enter on the hour, you have the whole of the hour to use the ticket and once in the exhibition you can be in there as long as you would like. It is worth adding the Undersea Explorer VR Experience to fully extend your visit. Last entrance is at 7 so make sure to give yourself plenty of time to enjoy. Under 4 are also free but are not able to ride the virtual reality experience.

Flying high: If Slotzilla is a little too out of your comfort zone, or the little ones are just a tad too small, do not fear. This if Vegas remember, there is something for everyone. Flyover located at the Showcase mall is the place for you. This seated ride will awaken your senses as it takes you on a soaring 4d experience through either the Wonders of the American West, the Rockie Mountains, Chicago or Iceland. You can choose between a single or double experience and family packages of 4 tickets can also be purchased. Whichever you decide will take you on a special journey of discovery.
